Agricultural Input Distribution for Women Farmers in Paghman District
This initiative provided agricultural support packages to 50 women-led farming households in Paghman District. Each package included improved seeds as well as black and white fertilizers to enhance crop production and promote sustainable farming practices. The project aimed to strengthen agricultural productivity, improve household food security, and support the livelihoods of women farmers by equipping them with essential farming inputs.

Mushroom Cultivation Training for Women Farmers in Kata Khil Village, Deh Sabz District This project provides practical mushroom cultivation training for women farmers in Kata Khil Village, Deh Sabz District. Participants learn modern cultivation techniques, farm management, and sustainable production methods to improve household income, strengthen food security, and promote women's economic empowerment through small-scale agriculture.
Distribution of Dairy Goats to Women Farmers
A total of 100 dairy goats were distributed to 50 selected women farmers, with each beneficiary receiving two dairy goats along with their kids. The initiative was designed to strengthen household livelihoods, improve food security, and create sustainable income-generating opportunities. By providing productive livestock, the program enhanced women's participation in livestock production and increased access to nutritious dairy products. This intervention also contributed to women's economic empowerment and the long-term resilience of rural households.
Home Gardening Project
The Home Gardening Project was implemented to improve household food security, enhance nutrition, and strengthen the livelihoods of rural women in the districts of Paghman and Deh Sabz. Under this project, vegetable seeds were distributed to 300 women farmers to establish and maintain home gardens. The project was implemented with the financial and technical support of United States Agency for International Development. In addition to seed distribution, beneficiaries received technical guidance on vegetable cultivation, helping improve household nutrition, increase agricultural production, and create opportunities for additional family income.
