Supporting Abdul Basit Clinic in Kata Khil Village
Our organization supported Abdul Basit Clinic in Kata Khil Village, Deh Sabz District of Kabul Province, where no healthcare facility previously existed. This initiative has improved access to essential medical services for local families, reducing the need to travel long distances for treatment and contributing to healthier, more resilient communities.
Nine-Day Disaster Risk Reduction Training for Women
A nine-day training program on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) was conducted for 80 women in Laghman Province. The training focused on increasing awareness of natural hazards, including floods, earthquakes, and other natural disasters, as well as preparedness and risk mitigation measures. Participants learned practical strategies for emergency response, community resilience, and protecting their families and livelihoods during disasters. The program aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness and enhance the capacity of women to respond effectively to natural emergencies.
