Nine-Day Disaster Risk Reduction Training for Women

A nine-day training program on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) was conducted for 80 women in Laghman Province. The training focused on increasing awareness of natural hazards, including floods, earthquakes, and other natural disasters, as well as preparedness and risk mitigation measures. Participants learned practical strategies for emergency response, community resilience, and protecting their families and livelihoods during disasters. The program aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness and enhance the capacity of women to respond effectively to natural emergencies.
